Hey there!

Hi, I’m Taryn, a mom to an ornery toddler & two dogs, wife, veteran, coffee addict, and lover of margaritas. If you’re reading this you probably know me already. If not, lucky you! I was told by one of my grandmothers that I should keep a journal of our adventures traveling all over the world. I’m not one to put pen to paper, but in true Gen-Z fashion, I sure can type. I hope if nothing else this will turn into a fun way to stay connected with everyone back home.

I’m currently living abroad and can’t find Margarita mix ANYWHERE that isn’t expired or super expensive because of import costs. This was on my mind when I was trying to come up with a name for this blog. But I promise, I have more to talk about than just margaritas! I often find myself reading blog posts from other people when I’m in need of advice on certain topics, whether it’s motherhood, mental health, travel planning, gift ideas, or what the heck to make for dinner. I feel like I have something to offer with my own voice. And if nothing else, I’m hoping I’ll just have a little fun, spend less time on TikTok, and maybe stay out of therapy. We’ll see.
